Best for Hawkes – course it was!
Nicola “Nicki” Hawkes of Velo Club Baracchi overcame nausea to gain a prize and a personal course-best time in Saturday’s open time trial.
Womack, Hawkes and Esser on form
Chris Womack of Velo Club Baracchi was looking for a good time in the Stowmarket & District CC 10-mile open time trial on the A14 near Woolpit and was not totally disappointed.

Gary Matthews of Velo Club Baracchi recorded the fastest time of the club’s riders in the VCB 50-mile time trail along the Waveney Valley on Sunday.

Chris Womack of Velo Club Baracchi was pleased with his time of 1-05:52 in the King’s Lynn 25-mile open time trial, where he won the veteran prize on handicap in the 60 to 69 age group for his second-fastest 25 this year.
All-rounder Gentry excels in 2-up time trial and is sixth in Diss road race
Liam Gentry of Velo Club Baracchi rode a two-up 10-mile time trial with Bungay fast man Jim Burgess of Anglia Velo in the Godric club event and together they achieved the fastest time of the evening, 21:02.
